Coollies - The Age Of Plastic - front

The debut album of the Coollies, a new wave duo comprised of Nodoka Manabe and Ui Hirasawa. Although both members were of equal importance, Nodoka was the only one to grace the front cover, while Ui was stuck on the back. The two most common themes of the album are lyrics about the impact of modern technology on society, and the ironic use of synthesizers and the latest recording techniques. Shortly after the release of this album, Nodoka and Ui would join progressive rock group K-On!, following the departure of singer Yui Hirasawa (Ui's sister) and keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki.
    Based on artwork of the debut album of the Buggles, The Age Of Plastic. There is nothing that can be said about the album's single, Video Killed The Radio Star, that isn't already legendary.
